| Nick Kenney began his music career at C&S Music Company in Fort Worth. From there, his career in sound reinforcement started. He worked at Skippy's Mistake in Arlington as the house sound engineer, polishing his chops and working with a vast genre of local talented musicians including Professor D and the Playskool, Chamber Pop, Lookout, Quazi and the Motos, Incognito, Dead King's Pillow, Pop Poppins and many more...... |

| Nick became employed for International Music Company, which later became AKAI Musical Instrument Corporation. Nick worked as product specialist for AKAI professional for 12 years, earning him the title of "the MPC man". Nick was very involved in the design and implementation of the MPC 1000 and MPC 4000 and specialized in this gear as well as an array of other AKAI products. He worked many trade shows during his employment at AKAI, including the NAMM and AES shows, conducting presentations and demos of the AKAI gear for an audience of professional musicians and others in the industry. Nick has worked as the house sound engineer for the Aardvark, a popular live music venue in Fort Worth, TX., located near the TCU campus. There, he has worked with a multitude of talent, including national acts Bowling for Soup, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Flickerstick, Cooder Graw, Tripping Daisy, Jibe, Cory Morrow, Jason Boland, Vallejo, Monte Montgomery and many more - too many to name! |
